Judy Ohnesorge Allee died June 28, 2013 in Kent, Washington.  She taught at the Maarif Kolej in Diyarbakir in 1968-1969. After the Peace Corps she taught English in Seattle while pursuing advanced degrees in Child Psychology.  She joined the Kent School District outside of Seattle as a school psychologist in 1979.  She worked tirelessly with special needs students to place them in existing programs and created appropriate programs where none existed.  Her son Jason Allee organized a celebration of her life at which colleagues told stories about her fierce dedication to her students and their families.
